Website Terms of Use

Last Updated: 11 August 2026

1. About These Terms

These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of the AWE Europe website, including any restricted trade account areas ("Website").

The Website is operated by AWE Europe Ltd ("AWE", "we", "us" or "our").

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website.

These Terms of Use govern use of the Website only. Any purchase of goods or services from AWE is subject to our separate Terms of Business.

2. Website Access

The public areas of the Website may be accessed by any visitor.

Certain areas of the Website, including trade pricing, stock information, order history, invoices, statements and account services, are available only to approved trade customers with authorised login credentials.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend or remove access to any part of the Website at our discretion.

3. Trade Accounts

Trade accounts are available only to approved business customers.

Access may require:

  • Completion of a trade account application;
  • Provision of supporting business information;
  • Credit account approval (where applicable); and
  • Approval by AWE.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, restrict or withdraw any trade account application, trade account or Website access at our reasonable discretion.

This may include circumstances where:

  • A customer account is closed or suspended;
  • Overdue amounts remain outstanding;
  • Credit facilities are withdrawn or amended;
  • Account information is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • Website access is no longer appropriate for the user's role;
  • We reasonably suspect misuse of the Website or a user account;
  • We identify security concerns; or
  • We otherwise consider such action necessary to protect our business, systems, customers, suppliers or partners.

4. User Accounts and Security

Login credentials are issued for use by authorised users only.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password.

You must not:

  • Share your login credentials with any other person;
  • Permit unauthorised access to your account;
  • Attempt to use another person's account; or
  • Circumvent account permissions or security controls.

You must notify AWE promptly if you believe your account has been compromised or accessed without authorisation.

We may suspend or remove account access where we reasonably believe that account sharing, misuse or unauthorised access has occurred.

5. Customer Account Administration

Where your organisation is provided with administrator-level access, your organisation is responsible for managing user permissions and ensuring appropriate access is granted to individual users.

AWE is not responsible for access granted by your organisation to its employees, contractors or authorised users.

6. Product Information

Product descriptions, specifications, images, datasheets, compatibility information and technical content are provided for general information purposes.

Much of this information is supplied by product manufacturers or other third parties.

Whilst we make reasonable efforts to ensure information is accurate and up to date, information may change without notice.

Customers remain responsible for:

  • Verifying product suitability;
  • Reviewing current manufacturer documentation;
  • Confirming compatibility requirements;
  • Checking installation requirements; and
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.

Where there is any discrepancy between information displayed on the Website and official manufacturer documentation, the manufacturer documentation should be relied upon.

7. Pricing and Availability

Prices displayed on the Website are available only to authorised trade customers.

Whilst we endeavour to maintain accurate pricing and stock information, errors may occasionally occur.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

  • Pricing is provided for information purposes only;
  • Stock availability is indicative only;
  • Stock levels may change without notice;
  • Website content does not constitute a binding offer to supply goods; and
  • A contract is formed only when AWE issues an Order Acknowledgement in accordance with our Terms of Business.

AWE reserves the right to correct any pricing, product, stock or content errors at any time.

8. Orders Placed Through the Website

Approved customers may place orders through the Website.

Submission of an order through the Website does not constitute acceptance by AWE.

All orders remain subject to:

  • Product availability;
  • Credit approval;
  • Verification processes; and
  • Acceptance by AWE.

Orders become binding only upon issue of an Order Acknowledgement by AWE.

9. Downloads and Resources

The Website may provide access to:

  • Datasheets;
  • Product specifications;
  • Manuals;
  • Marketing materials;
  • Product images;
  • Technical documents; and
  • Other business resources.

These materials are provided for legitimate business purposes only.

Users are responsible for ensuring they are using the latest available versions of technical documentation and product information.

10. Intellectual Property

The Website and its contents, including text, graphics, logos, images, documents, software, layout and design, are owned by, licensed to, or used with permission by AWE Europe Ltd, manufacturers, suppliers and other rights holders.

Product images, marketing materials, specifications and technical content remain subject to the rights of the relevant owner.

Customers may use such materials for legitimate business purposes connected with the promotion, specification, sale, installation and support of products supplied through AWE.

Materials must not be altered in a misleading manner, used unlawfully, or used in a way that infringes the rights of the relevant owner.

Any wider reproduction, redistribution, publication, modification or commercial use outside the normal course of business may require permission from the relevant rights holder.

13. Website Availability

We aim to keep the Website available and up to date.

However, we do not guarantee that the Website will always be:

  • Available;
  • Secure;
  • Error-free; or
  • Uninterrupted.

We may update, modify, suspend or remove any part of the Website, products, services or functionality at any time.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to that, AWE shall not be liable for:

  • Reliance on outdated, inaccurate or incomplete product information where current manufacturer information should have been checked;
  • Temporary Website unavailability;
  • Third-party website content or services;
  • Unauthorised use of customer accounts; or
  • Any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption.
