The TSU-9800 Philips Pronto has all the usual IR and WiFi connectivity expected of the Pronto range but can also be hard wired, having an Ethernet connection on the rear. In areas of poor WiFi coverage or in situations where control operation is critical hardwiring ensures full operation at all times.

Polar Bear already make a superb in wall dock for the smaller TSU-9600 so it was logical to extend the range to the TSU-9800. Once installed in its dock the TSU-9800 becomes a permanently fixed unit, powered and hard-wired into the dock. Should there be a need to reset the unit and reprogramme it the bezel can be removed allowing access to the on/off and USB connection.

This bezel is securely held on otherwise making the unit suitable for commercial or education facilities where security is paramount.

The fixing kit comprises of two parts, the wall box and the main receptacle for the Pronto. The wall box can therefore be installed early in the build process with the pronto and caddy going in once the project is at a suitable stage.
