At the prestigious CEDIA Awards ceremony, which took place on Friday 3^rd April at The Brewery in central London, AWE Europe was presented with the award for ‘Best Training Initiative by a Trade Supplier’ for its Pronto Certification programme.

The award was one of only two that are voted for by the CEDIA membership, with the online poll open to all CEDIA ESP (Electronic Systems Professional) members.

Beating off all the competition from other trade suppliers, AWE’s high quality Pronto training was named as the best, thanks to the combination of online and hands on training that ensures that installers gain knowledge and expertise, allowing them to provide a more advanced service to clients.

Pronto Certification is available at three levels with each level having to be passed before progressing upwards. Pronto Certification is a mix of online training modules, face to face training including hands on experience and practical exams.

This high quality training provides the benefits of increased knowledge resulting in more efficient and therefore profitable installations, improved client satisfaction and less site call outs. The online training and tests for Level 1 and 2 are available 24/7 nationwide, and AWE offers Level 2 and Level 3 training on a monthly basis at its training centre and at periodic regional events.

Installers completing tests are officially Certified by Pronto and Level 2 and 3 installers are included on AWE’s online dealer finder (www.awe-europe.com/dealers). Level 3 installers are also listed on the Philips Pronto website. Installers completing Level 2 or 3 gain 2.5 CEDIA CEU Points per course, making time spent gaining Pronto Certification even more valuable.
