Awards were given to the Philips Pronto TSU-9600 for "Best Universal Remote," the Cineversum BlackWing Three for "Best Projector", the Pioneer KURO took "Best Plasma TV" and Denon TU1800DAB "Best hi-fi tuner".

The Pronto TSU-9600 provides a class leading 3.7” colour VGA touch-screen, is fully programmable and customisable via PC and is IR, IP and RS232 extendable. It receives feedback from RS-232 or IP controlled devices in real-time, providing advanced two-way functionality beyond simply controlling home entertainment and automation systems

The Cineversum BlackWing Three is a full-HD projector, compatible natively with the most recent sources like Blu-ray players and offers two HDMI 1.3 inputs, 1080p 24fps for a smooth and cinema-like motion, and a new full-glass optical lens with motorized zoom and focus.

Pioneer KURO plasma TV screens feature inbuilt freeview, three HDMI inputs with RS-232 control and most models are ISF calibration ready. 1080p/24 from Blu-Ray is impressive and the screens show excellent detail coupled with a fantastic contrast range. Their M series monitors keep all the benefits of the KURO technology but dispense with the TV tuning for installations that do not require them. They do however add IP control and status monitoring.

Denon's TU-1800DAB couples traditional FM and AM reception with DAB. There are plenty of pre-set memories making it a favourite choice for the installer plus Denon's usual high quality reception and musicality.
