AWE’S 2-WAY CONTROL SHOWCASE EVENT IS A HIT!
AWE, the exclusive distributor of the Philips Pronto range to the UK CI market, held a highly successful 2-way Control Showcase at its head office in Epsom, Surrey. Over 100 installers attended this special event over a two day period to take part in hourly presentations that looked at the new Pronto TSU-9400, the forthcoming TSU-9200 and an introduction to Pronto Script and certified training.

In addition, a showcase of ProntoScript partner companies already working with the Pronto’s 2-way control modules were on show, which some dubbed AWExpo!  “AWE provides a good, friendly service, excellent technical support with a great product range” says Das Stavrou of ALTO AV. “The Pronto training that took place was very useful, interesting and informative. A great way to learn about new products.” Simon Buddle of SMC continues: “The training and support from AWE is excellent both at intermediate and advanced level with the team able to answer in depth questions immediately. AWE is extremely pro-active at bringing new products to the market place.”

AWE played host to a number of partner companies who gave live demonstrations of their equipment working with bespoke 2-way modules. Companies at the event included Lutron, Denon, Dynalite, Imerge and Yamaha. The latest Pronto range offers groundbreaking functionality to the mid-market and interfaces with a wide range of equipment, via the new ProntoScript control modules.

The 2-way control showcase event provided the first opportunity in Europe for custom installers to see the new TSU-9400 hand-held controller, and it is already proving hugely popular with installers and customers alike. Attendees got the opportunity to get ‘hands-on’ with the new model and from sales so far were extremely impressed with what they saw.

AWE Europe is the exclusive UK distributor for Philips Pronto and also the UK Service Centre, providing extensive training and technical support to the custom installation trade. In recognition of the results the company is achieving, AWE won the prestigious title of ‘Best Sales Performance in Europe 2006/07’ at the recent Philips Pronto Distributor Conference.

In addition, AWE exclusively supplies the trade with quality projectors from Cineversum, CI speakers from Flatline Acoustics U.S.A. and KEF. Other CI market distribution agreements include flat panel TV’s from Philips, Sharp and Pioneer, as well as AV receivers, amplifiers, hard drive music servers, CD changers and DVD players from Yamaha, Onkyo, Pioneer and Denon. AWE Europe won the Best Trade Supplier award and Best Stand at CEDIA Expo in the influential 2007 CEDIA Awards.
