Samsung’s The Frame LED UHD TV is now available via CI distributor and television expert, AWE. The Frame joins a comprehensive offering from AWE of the latest TV screens with integrator-focussed benefits. The Frame combines stunning UHD TV performance and functionality with the elegance to actually enhance a residential space, as its unique Art Mode function transforms the TV into a realistic picture frame complete with artwork when the TV is not in use.

The Frame also allows homeowners to easily display a choice of artwork, or even their own personal photos on the screen via the Art Mode function. Artwork can be selected from the Samsung Gallery, an exclusive collection of art curated only for The Frame, with over 100 options to choose from, avoiding an unappealing black screen. The SmartView app allows content to be controlled, and personal photos can be uploaded via smartphone devices, whilst a built-in motion sensor detects personal presence and turns the screen off to save energy when no one is in the room.

This unique functionality is perfect for when homeowners do not want a traditional TV on the wall, or to go to the significant expense of motorised brackets or housings to hide a conventional screen. The Frame’s interchangeable custom frame bezels are available in black as standard, as well as walnut, beige wood and white colour finishes.

The Near-Invisible cable also provides a neat solution, meaning The Frame has the flexibility to be placed almost anywhere in the room because the single, transparent optical cable connects to the One Connect Box which itself connects to all external devices. The only cable to the TV is power.

The Frame delivers exceptional clarity with UHD Upscaling to enhance the detail of standard and high definition content. The latest technology delivers a stunning range with over 17 million colours and striking contrast, whilst High Dynamic Range provides brightness and exceptional shadow detail.

Paired with a Quad Core Processor for fast and fluid browsing, The Smart Hub provides access to a variety of different content sources, allows users to switch between apps and stream online video games.
